Bad Dog is a micro business located in the heart of Tofino BC. Our little shop has been open since July 2nd 2023. This space was created to give owners an opportunity to shop curated dog goods locally. While we carry quality kibble, our focus is on small brands that you might not be able to find in bigger pet stores.
On Jingle into Christmas we raised over $200 in pup cup funds and hosted a sale called Buy a Bone, Give a Bone. For the month of December we matched our bone sales and we were able to donate 150 Bully Sticks to the Port Alberni SPCA.
We are constantly trying to evolve our stock with new products that can benefit our locals and visitors. We offer pup cups in exchange for donations to rotating animal rescues. Many locals stop by for a positive experience for their dogs. We also host events like yearly birthday partys & sales and Registered Canine Teeth Cleaning days. We are always advocating for resuce dogs & reactive dogs on our social media and in the shop. This has helped us meet many amazing people and create a unique community we are so grateful for.
