The Clayoquot Biosphere Trust (CBT) is the only organization in Canada that is both a community foundation and a UNESCO biosphere region. For 25 years, we've united the communities of the west coast with a global network to advance sustainability, reconciliation, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We invest in youth, protect ecosystems, strengthen community wellbeing, and fund local solutions grounded in Nuu-chah-nulth teachings. With over $5.5M granted since 2000 and the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Centre underway, CBT is shaping a vibrant, resilient future for this remarkable coastline.
